In a typical day as a Cloud Services Presales Enterprise Architect, you would:

  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor to HPE’s clients, and partner with them to understand their requirements for cloud implementations.
  • Provide recommendations to clients with respect to cloud transformation and prepare strategic and technical implementation roadmaps for cloud adoption.
  • Help design state-of-the-art technical solutions across a hybrid cloud landscape that address customer’s requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Stay abreast of hybrid best-practices and emerging cloud technologies.
  • Present solutions and technical proposals to existing and prospective customers
  • Research and write responses to technical sections of requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFPs)
  • Communicate the Value of new IT strategies and keeps stakeholders informed of ongoing initiatives
  • Contribute to the team by sharing knowledge, documenting customer success stories, helping maintain the team lab environment, and participating in team initiatives
  • You will be working across 7 countries within the North Western Europe

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of experience working with a top-tier systems vendor or customer, either in cloud architecture, sales engineering, or a solutions architect role
  • 8+ years of experience as sales or systems engineer, including building and implementing virtualization and cloud computing solutions
  • Expertise in virtualization, ITSM, CI/CD, configuration management and other automation technologies
  • Strong understanding of Service management
  • Master of Enterprise Architect Frameworks (like TOGAF)
  • Understanding of core compute, storage, and networking topology and devices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable giving presentations and speaking in front of an audience
  • Strong Presales/pursuit background with experience developing new business opportunities (preferably at the CxO level)
  • Experience with organizational strategy, transformation, and operations
  • Extensive IT background encompassing spectrum of edge-to-cloud solutions
  • Facilitation of transformation workshops, experience in management/business consulting role

Senior Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect, who is excited to be one of the first people in the EMEA region to build modern Hybrid Cloud solutions and shape the future of the product. In the Nutanix Solution Team, we will be working with the most challenging customers, creating Nutanix documentation artifacts (Reference Architectures, Best Practices Guides, Nutanix Validated Design), and working with PM\ENG on the product roadmap.

Nutanix Solutions team oversees creating Nutanix Validated Designs, Reference Architectures, Technical Notes, and Best Practices Guides in multiple verticals like Hybrid Cloud, Networking, EUC, Database, SAP, Security, and networking.
The team attracted several senior technical experts including many with VCDX and NPX certifications from various areas.

Your role

  • Take technical leadership in architecting, designing, documenting, and building Hybrid Cloud solutions based on the Nutanix Cloud Platform
  • Create and maintain Nutanix Solutions teams artifacts.
  • Focus on customer opportunities to expand our platform and products in the top 2% of our customer base.
  • Provide broad Enterprise Architecture expertise to help customers understand how multiple Nutanix & 3’rd party products can be integrated to create desired outcomes with the goal of accelerating adoption and expansion in high-growth accounts.
  • Work closely with Engineering & Product Management to represent the voice of our customers and curate requirements spanning large customers to find common themes and ensure that these are well understood by engineering and executed holistically.

What will you bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in architecting and deploying large-scale solutions.
  • Deep understanding of virtualization technologies and software-defined data center architectures.
  • Experience in designing and managing Private, Public, and Hybrid Multi-cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and win the confidence of C-Level executives.
  • Ability to execute on broad strategic vision and when needed dive deep into detail to drive meaningful outcomes.

Great to have

  • Experience in an architect or a tech lead role.
  • Experience in building a scalable cloud solution on one of the leading public clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.

Certification and Education

  • Project governance experience and familiarity with PRINCE2, PMP or TOGAF frameworks
  • Practical knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • Experience of presenting at a user group, trade show or similar is highly desirable
  • Experience or good understanding of any of the following cloud management systems: OpenStack, vRealize Automation, vCloud Director (vCD), VMC, Azure, GCP
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and datacenter automation.

Technical Architect – Salesforce Field Service

The Technical Architect for Salesforce Field Service is responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of cloud based solutions and technologies; for this role the Technical architect works exclusively on Salesforce Field Service engagements in this architecture role and as such has a good working knowledge of our SFS product and best practices for implementing it. This can be both in a project or advisory type setting.

Prior knowledge of and experience with Service Cloud is required and  knowledge of call centre operations a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients consistently meet/exceed goals and metrics through developing architecture / design for the SFS implementation 
  • Working closely with Delivery Managers, Functional Solution Architects and directly with clients to architect technology solutions to meet client needs.
